This page is very out of date, but I’ve left it here as a nostalgic snapshot of my experience at the Edinburgh Festival 2012. Why the hell not?
4 star review for God in a Bag – http://www.spoonfed.co.uk/spooners/spoonfedcomedy-8202/review-george-ryegold-s-god-in-a-bag-7125/
Also, it’s one of the Top 5 things to see in The Scotsman! (Kate Copstick)
As for Sung and Unsung, Oli and Laurence have been doing a bloody funny daily video diary, and I appeared in the last one. I play an absolute arse – http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DM0RHQfE37SE&v=M0RHQfE37SE&gl=GB
Hang on, what shows am I in again?
I’m in 3 shows at the Edinburgh Arts Festival this year, 2 of which are on simultaneously in the same building. That’s right, I’m an entertainment wizard –
God in a Bag
Dairy Room, Underbelly, Bristo Square.
1st to the 27th August
This is a sort of comedy play / potential sitcom thing. It contains references to the fractal nature of the universe and how man-fluid looks like PVA glue, so it’s got summin for everyone.
*See poster beneath! See how I gurn!*
Master of None
Sweet Venues, International 1
14th to the 26th August
I’ll be doing a bit of the old acting and a tiny bit of crooning to boot. This is a cabaret show starring the verrrr talented and beeeyoodiful Jayde Adams.
Sung and Unsung
Sweet Venues, International 2
4th to the 26th August
…and I’m compering this stand-up and musical comedy show for the verrrr talented and beyoodiful Oli Bettesworth and Laurence Owen.
